Borden Chemical, Inc. operated chemical facility in Edmonton, Alberta, manufacturing various types of formaldehyde resins and powders for the forest products industry. An expansion to the existing facility was required to replace feedstock currently being imported from a supplier that had decided to cease production.
This project, a joint venture with Teton Industrial Group, Inc., was the complete installation of the facility including underground water, sewer, and fire water lines, demolition, concrete, supply and installation of structural steel, building structure and piping, architectural finishes, mechanical equipment, heavy lifts, insulation, electrical and instrumentation.
