This project is the construction of a new steam generating plant with some oil separation and emulsion pumping facilities. The steam plant is part of an expansion to increase the overall production of the existing Wolf Lake heavy oil plant by 30,000 bbl per day. The plant site is located 86 km north of Bonnyville, Alberta within the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range. Monad's scope of work included the construction of concrete equipment foundations, installation of precast concrete grade beams, 19 pipe rack and equipment modules, miscellaneous structural steel, vessel and equipment setting, mechanical erection and supply and installation of off-rack piping.
