Snap Lake Project - Underground Equipment Installation

The Snap Lake Mine site is located approximately 300 km northeast of Yellowknife, NWT.  The work included the installation of the complete underground facility including the following major systems:  crushing, conveying (1.5km), ventilation, dewatering, power distribution, instrumentation and controls, communications, water distribution, portable water, compressed air, fuel bay area, lunch rooms, refuge stations, gear storage area, explosives area and maintenance area.

Monad provided all supervision, labour, materials, tools and construction equipment to complete the work mechanical installation with a joint venture partner providing the underground equipment and rock bolt installation.
